Abstract

Abstract

The principle of halal is important; it is highly demanded in Islam because everything halal will certainly bring benefits, especially in Islamic Social Entrepreneurship (ISE) activities. Entrepreneurs would ensure that every product and service produced is halal and compliant with Islamic law ranging from sourcing, processing, packaging, delivery, and other processes to the use of goods and services accepted by consumers or the community. The objective of this article is to call to emphasize halal principles in implementing ISE activities. The research method used was content analysis. The findings of the study show that the halal principle is the main principle that must be followed by entrepreneurs in achieving the objectives of ISE.
